Bad Breath - Smell Like Sewer Gas

Having dentures means that you should take an extra step to maintaining good dental care and hygiene. Like natural teeth, dentures should be brushed and cleaned regularly, otherwise you will develop a bad breath smell like a sewer.

Remove your dentures at night and soak them in a clean glass of water. Dentures need to be cleaned daily because bacteria can build and breed in between producing bad breath smells like sewer gas.

When you neglect to clean your teeth regularly, the caps or crown on your teeth may deteriorate over time which may cause tooth decay and bad breath. Some people think that dentures need not be cleaned or brushed but it’s important to keep your dental hygiene in check. You should always brush and floss your teeth regularly especially if you use braces because you might miss some spots or areas and that can cause bad breath, tooth decay, or worse, loss of teeth.
